Little Nipper
This very effective little tool is rare on the waters now, but is a handy gadget to have on your vest, in your sling pack, or ready to take over in an emergency when you accidentally drop your expensive nipper in the drink.
With it you can:
1. Nip leaders and tippet knot tags as short as you want them
2. Mash the barbs of smaller hooks.
3. Touch up a hook point.
4. Look retro-cool with it fastened to your vest or lanyard or hip pack. Connect it on the inside of your vest so it doesn't catch on your fly line.
5. Or, God forbid, your tear, split or need to repair your nails while fishing, there it is ready to do its job.
I can't tell you how many times I've lost, misplaced or left behind my expensive nippers only to rely on these "little nippers".
